Send me an e-mail and indicate which tours you are interested in, the dates you plan to be in Rome and how many persons you are.
We can also put together a personally designed tour based on your own wishes about what you would like to see and experience in Rome.
I will be happy to make a proposal for a suitable tour with price details.

Tel: +39 349 1429389 please call via whatsapp, but it's even better to send a message as I may be doing a guided tour.

Visits to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel & Saint Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum must be booked in advance as the tickets are limited. You will receive information from me on how to proceed.

After having received your preliminary booking, I will send you the information about:
- booking entry tickets
- payment method
- meeting place and time
You do not have to book tickets for me, as I have access everywhere with my guide license.

Please note that proper dress is a must to visit the churches in Rome and the Vatican. Do not wear short shorts and skirts and avoid clothes with bare shoulders. Comfortable shoes are a prerequisite, especially in the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and on the Palatine Hill, as you will probably walk a lot in Rome.

Cash is still acceptable in Italy, some shops may still not accept credit cards and in markets cash is still king. And coins may be needed to throw into the Trevi Fountain, if you want to  make sure that you will come back to Rome.

ABOUT ME

Rome has been my hometown for more than 20 years now. My knowledge of the city's history and sights was limited at first, but the longer I lived here, the more interested I became. I started to visit museums, churches and monuments to try to understand the city of Rome better. In the end, I decided to study Art History and Ancient History at the university. It was very rewarding to be able to go out and study directly on the sites, what we were reading about in the various courses, and often within walking distance. I have a Master's degree with a major in Art History and a minor in Ancient History. In my thesis I examine six different Renaissance portraits of Italian women and the clothing and the jewellery they are wearing.

My knowledge of Italy is extensive, having lived and traveled in all parts of the country for more than 25 years. I am happy to share my own experiences and I can tell you about Italy from many point of views, about contemporary events and different habits. The guide job has given me many new interests such as Ancient History, Architecture, Art History, and Archaeology. In addition to Swedes, Norwegians and Finnish Swedes, I have guided smaller and larger groups with English-speaking people from all over the world. It is very stimulating and inspiring to meet new people in Rome with whom I can share these interests. Rome is my favorite city which I am proud and happy to show to the many visitors who come here. I hope I succeed in conveying my passion for the city, so that your stay in Rome will be an unforgettable memory.
